I have been wearing pure flows since the first model came out and they have consistently been my favorite running shoe. I’m a midfoot striker and I primarily do 5ks and sprint triathlons but I just finished my first marathon in October wearing the previous pure flow model. Started with these shoes after recovering from that race and love them. I have found over the years that the toe boxes of all women’s running shoes seem to be getting narrower which is annoying (and is why I can no longer wear Aasics kayanos I used to love for walking/work) and the pureflows are no exception but they aren’t uncomfortably narrow for my feet. I really hope brooks keeps this line of shoe because there aren’t that many running shoes with a 4mm drop, which just seems to work best for me. I have had surgery on my knee twice so in the wrong shoe I really feel it all up and down my bad leg during and after the run. I alternate with mizunos for training runs, but since they got rid of their low drop shoe style I can’t wear their shoes on long runs anymore, just these pureflows
