As others observed, boot fits tight across ball of foot. Is fine with a thin sock so will keep.I loved these boots originally, and I still like how they look but the right one started squeaking BADLY. I mean, real loud. You can hear me walk well before you see me. I don't know if there’s a cure for it. Sheesh.This boot is very cute and can be dressed up or down. I would say this shoe runs true to size HOWEVER it fits like a high heel. I was planning on wearing these in the winter months with socks. I don’t wear socks with my regular heels, so the shoe fit way too snug in my regular size and was uncomfortable to wear. I wear a 7 in most shoes (including both heels and sneakers) and a few odd pairs of 7.5. I exchanged my original 7 for a 7.5, and they now fit very nicely with my socks.Love these booties. Color has bit more of a "tomato" vibe, but still love it. A lot of reviews said they were too narrow but I felt the fit was spot on. I usually wear a 9, ordered a 9 and they fit perfect. Haven't had too much rain to test the waterproofness, but no leaks wearing in snow. Comfortable and cute!
